JobPhotoLog is an iOS app for documenting work with organized project photos. Its core workflow is designed to work on your device: you choose a project, capture or import photos, add project records, and optionally create a report or share selected content.
Information You Enter or Create
You may create project names, client names, location or job notes, project status, photo captions, dates, before-and-after comparisons, corrective-action or follow-up items, and signature marks. You may also create or import photos that can contain people, property, work areas, documents, equipment, or other information visible in the image. This information is used to organize the project records and reports you create in the app.
Photos and Camera Access
JobPhotoLog uses the iPhone camera only when you choose to take a photo. If you choose to import an image or save content, the app may use the photo library access you grant through iOS. You control the photos you add. Before photographing people, private property, documents, or sensitive work areas, make sure you have any permission or consent that is required for your project.
Local Storage
Your saved project details, photos selected for a project, comparisons, follow-up items, signatures, and app preferences are stored locally on your device for the core app experience. If you remove the app, locally stored data may be deleted unless it is included in Apple-managed device backups.
Offline Operation and Accounts
JobPhotoLog does not require a customer account for its core project-record workflow. We do not operate a public project directory, social feed, or remote project-record service for JobPhotoLog. Creating, viewing, and organizing project records can be done on your device.
Reports, Exports, and Sharing
When you choose to create, print, export, or share a report, photo, or project record, the content you select is passed to the iOS share, print, or export destination you explicitly choose. That destination, such as an email provider, messaging app, cloud-storage service, recipient, or printer, may process the content according to its own policies. Review the selected images and report details before sharing.
What We Do Not Sell
We do not sell your personal information. JobPhotoLog is not designed around advertising profiles, third-party data brokerage, public social content, or user tracking for advertising.
Permissions
- Camera: used only when you choose to capture a job-site or project photo.
- Photo library: used only when you choose to import a photo or save eligible content through iOS.
- On-device storage: used to save your project records, photos, comparisons, signatures, follow-up items, and app preferences.
- Share sheet, printing, and export: used only when you choose an iOS action to send, print, or export selected content.
- Apple-managed backups: controlled through your Apple account and device settings.
Data Retention and Deletion
You can delete project records and their associated content from within JobPhotoLog where controls are available. You may also remove the app from your device to delete locally stored data, subject to any Apple-managed backups you have enabled. Shared or exported copies must be deleted separately from the destination where you sent them.
Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
JobPhotoLog is a documentation and organization tool only. Project records, photos, timestamps, comparisons, checklists, signature marks, reports, and exports are created from information you provide and may be incomplete, inaccurate, altered, unavailable, or unsuitable for a particular purpose. The app does not independently verify the identity, authority, consent, date, time, location, condition, completeness, authenticity, or legal effect of any project record, photo, or signature.
JobPhotoLog does not provide construction, safety, inspection, engineering, architectural, insurance, contractual, legal, evidentiary, or regulatory advice. A signature captured in the app is not a guarantee of identity, authorization, acceptance, completion, payment, waiver, or legal enforceability. You are responsible for obtaining required permissions and consents, protecting confidential information, preserving records when needed, verifying job conditions, and meeting all applicable contract, workplace, privacy, safety, and legal requirements.
The app and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, JiaBao Dai and WoodCutTool are not liable for any loss, claim, dispute, privacy incident, data loss, property damage, project delay, failed inspection, rejected report, or other consequence arising from your use of, reliance on, sharing of, or inability to access JobPhotoLog content.
