How the estimate works
Use the number as a planning starting point.
Available clear space equals internal height minus shelf thicknesses and any bottom offset. Dividing that space by shelf count plus one creates equal openings.
Check the result
Fixed-shelf joinery, shelf pins, face frames, toe kicks, top stretchers, and real material thickness can shift the final marks. Verify the first and last shelf against the cabinet drawing.

How do I space shelves evenly?
Subtract the total shelf thickness from the usable internal height, then divide the remaining space by the number of clear openings.
What is the 32mm cabinet system?
It uses hole locations on 32mm increments for adjustable shelves and hardware. This calculator shows nearby increments, but you must set the drilling datum for your cabinet system.
